I would really appreciate it if you did NOT mirror the download

One of the many ways in which we can show success for Notes and Domino 8 beta is the number of registered downloads tracked by IBM. One of the ways we can serve customers better is to have registration information about who downloaded it. And the only way you can legally agree to the beta license agreement is to download from IBM.

You might not care about the second and third reason, but we all as a community have a reason to care about the first.
